Rain promotes his forthcoming movie Ninja Assassin during the Comic Con at the San Diego Conference Center on Thursday.
Ninja Assassin is an upcoming martial arts film directed by James McTeigue (V for Vendetta) and starring Korean pop star, Rain.
Raizo (Rain) is one of the world’s deadliest assassins, having been kidnapped as a child and raised by the Ozunu Clan, believed by the world to be a myth. When Raizo’s friend is executed by the clan, Raizo flees into hiding.
The project was inspired by the ninja scenes featured in the Wachowskis‘ 2008 film Speed Racer, in which the actor Rain had impressed the Wachowskis with his portrayal as a fighter.

The proposed merger of the Sirius and XM satellite radio companies appeared close to final approval Wednesday, with the sole undecided member of the Federal Communications Commission poised to support the deal if the companies settle past rules violations.
Commissioners are currently at a 2-2 tie over whether to approve the proposed takeover of XM Satellite Radio Holdings Inc. by Sirius Satellite Radio Inc.
The value of the pending deal soared to $3.9 billion as shares of Sirius rose Wednesday by nearly 13 percent. XM shareholders will receive 4.6 shares of Sirius stock for every share of XM stock.

What do you think this will mean for internet and automobile radio? Is this a monopoly? What does this mean for the entertaiment and radio industry??

File this under Not Safe While Eating. If the prospect of seeing a completely nude Brooke Hogan on the pages of Playboy Magazine didn’t leave you with nightmares, here’s something that might do the trick-Spencer Pratt…naked…for Playgirl.
Editors at the adult publication for women were so impressed with Spencer’s beach body after several of The Hills star’s paparazzi shots landed in their hot little hands, they decided to offer the 24 year-old preppy a nude centerfold in the mag.
“Spencer has a six-pack and muscles,” a friend has revealed to In Touch Weekly. “When he was photographed shirtless at the beach, Playgirl saw and asked him to pose for a nude layout.”
And what’s worse, says the pal, Spencer’s considering the offer. In fact, the Brooks Brothers-Lover can have his briefs down in a jiffy if Playgirl agrees to his $1 million asking price.
We’ll pay him to keep his pants on.
“As usual, Heidi and I are entertaining a lot of offers,” a coy Spence replied when quizzed about the Playgirl deal.

It looks like LC's fashion designing career could be as fake as "The Hills"!
Sources close to the Lauren Conrad line tell us LC's claim that she's involved in every step of the design process is completely bogus. We're told, "You never see her picking out fabrics, or in the cutting room, or even at the drawing board. She's not the designer, the only step she's involved in is the promotion."
We're also told the clothing line mainly is fashioned by Sherri Roozrak-Wood, a former designer for Tart. And surprise! LC's clothes look an awful lot like some of the old Tart designs.
Our spies were at Kress nightclub last week, and they tell us they overheard LC tell an aspiring designer that she wished she knew how to sketch. Cuts you up!
We talked to LC about the claims made, and she tells us, "These claims are ridiculous. Anyone who knows me knows how important designing is to me and how much time and devotion I put into my own line. I am and always have been the sole designer of the Lauren Conrad Collection."
( Lauren's line does look very similar to Tart complete with names for each design )

Victoria Beckham's is reportedly fed up with Katie Holmes stealing her style.
The former Spice Girl and self-proclaimed style icon is said to believe her Hollywood pal has upstaged her by 'ripping off' her signature 'Pob' hairstyle.
“When she arrived in LA Posh felt she was the equal to any star," an insider tells the Daily Star.
"But with the failure of the Spice Girls reunion and David’s faltering career, she is terrified everyone’s losing interest in brand Beckham.”
The source adds, “The one thing she thought she had over Katie and other leading lights was her sense of style.
"But now that Katie’s usurping her, she doesn’t know how they can continue to be friends.”

Prof whose 'last lecture' became a sensation dies
Randy Pausch, a Carnegie Mellon University computer scientist whose "last lecture" about facing terminal cancer became an Internet sensation and a best-selling book, died Friday. He was 47.
Pausch died at his home in Virginia, university spokeswoman Anne Watzman said. Pausch and his family moved there last fall to be closer to his wife's relatives.
Pausch was diagnosed with incurable pancreatic cancer in September 2006. His popular last lecture at Carnegie Mellon in September 2007 garnered international attention and was viewed by millions on the Internet.
In it, Pausch celebrated living the life he had always dreamed of instead of concentrating on impending death.
"The lecture was for my kids, but if others are finding value in it, that is wonderful," Pausch wrote on his Web site. "But rest assured; I'm hardly unique."
The book "The Last Lecture," written with Jeffrey Zaslow, leaped to the top of the nonfiction best-seller lists after its publication in April and remains there this week. Pausch said he dictated the book to Zaslow, a Wall Street Journal writer, by cell phone. The book deal was reported to be worth more than $6 million.
At Carnegie Mellon, he was a professor of computer science, human-computer interaction and design, and was recognized as a pioneer of virtual reality research. On campus, he became known for his flamboyance and showmanship as a teacher and mentor.
The speech last fall was part of a series Carnegie Mellon called "The Last Lecture," where professors were asked to think about what matters to them most and give a hypothetical final talk. The name of the lecture series was changed to "Journeys" before Pausch spoke, something he joked about in his lecture.
"I thought, damn, I finally nailed the venue and they renamed it," he said.
He told the packed auditorium he fulfilled almost all his childhood dreams — being in zero gravity, writing an article in the World Book Encyclopedia and working with the Walt Disney Co.
The one that eluded him? Playing in the National Football League.
"If I don't seem as depressed or morose as I should be, sorry to disappoint you," Pausch said.
He then joked about his quirky hobby of winning stuffed animals at amusement parks — another of his childhood dreams — and how his mother introduced him to people to keep him humble: "This is my son, he's a doctor, but not the kind that helps people."
Pausch said he was embarrassed and flattered by the popularity of his message. Millions viewed the complete or abridged version of the lecture, titled "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams," online.
Pausch lobbied Congress for more federal funding for pancreatic cancer research and appeared on "Oprah" and other TV shows. In what he called "a truly magical experience," he was even invited to appear as an extra in the new "Star Trek" movie.
He had one line of dialogue, got to keep his costume and donated his $217.06 paycheck to charity.
Pausch blogged regularly about his medical treatment. On Feb. 15, exactly six months after he was told he had three to six months of healthy living left, Pausch posted a photo of himself to show he was "still alive & healthy."
"I rode my bike today; the cumulative effects of the chemotherapy are hurting my stamina some, but I bet I can still run a quarter mile faster than most Americans," he wrote.
Pausch gave one more lecture after his Carnegie Mellon appearance — in November at the University of Virginia, where he had taught from 1988 to 1997.
Pausch often emphasized the need to have fun.
"I mean I don't know how to not have fun. I'm dying and I'm having fun. And I'm going to keep having fun every day I have left. Because there's no other way to play it," he said in his Carnegie Mellon lecture. "You just have to decide if you're a Tigger or an Eeyore. I think I'm clear where I stand on the great Tigger/Eeyore debate. Never lose the childlike wonder. It's just too important. It's what drives us."
Born in 1960, Pausch received his bachelor's degree in computer science from Brown University and his Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon.
He co-founded Carnegie Mellon's Entertainment Technology Center, a master's program for bringing artists and engineers together. The university named a footbridge in his honor. He also created an animation-based teaching program for high school and college students to have fun while learning computer programming.
In February, the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences in California announced the creation of the Dr. Randy Pausch Scholarship Fund for university students who pursue careers in game design, development and production.
He and his wife, Jai, had three children, Dylan, Logan and Chloe.

Estelle Getty’s friends and family gathered at a private memorial service yesterday to mourn the loss of the late actress. Attendees included her longtime assistant Richard and her sons, Carl and Barry Gettleman. Said Golden Girls executive producer Tony Thomas: “We loved her dearly. She made the so-so jokes good, the good jokes great and the great jokes out of this world.” Very noticeably absent from the tear-filled and unfortunate gathering? Estelle’s Golden Girls costars Bea Arthur, Rue McClanahan and Betty White. So much for being a friend!

?What Bush and Batman Have in Common
By ANDREW KLAVAN
A cry for help goes out from a city beleaguered by violence and fear: A beam of light flashed into the night sky, the dark symbol of a bat projected onto the surface of the racing clouds . . .
Oh, wait a minute. That's not a bat, actually. In fact, when you trace the outline with your finger, it looks kind of like . . . a "W."
There seems to me no question that the Batman film "The Dark Knight," currently breaking every box office record in history, is at some level a paean of praise to the fortitude and moral courage that has been shown by George W. Bush in this time of terror and war. Like W, Batman is vilified and despised for confronting terrorists in the only terms they understand. Like W, Batman sometimes has to push the boundaries of civil rights to deal with an emergency, certain that he will re-establish those boundaries when the emergency is past.
And like W, Batman understands that there is no moral equivalence between a free society -- in which people sometimes make the wrong choices -- and a criminal sect bent on destruction. The former must be cherished even in its moments of folly; the latter must be hounded to the gates of Hell.

Miley Cyrus — a mean girl?
In a new YouTube video, Miley and her BFF Mandy mock Selena Gomez and her pal Demi Lovato.
Miley, 15, makes fun of a T-shirt Gomez, 16, wore and teases Demi, 15, about a gap she used to have in her teeth.
The clip surfaces the same week that sources tell Usmagazine.com that Selena is dating Miley's ex Nick Jonas (a rep for the Jonas Brothers insists they're just friends).
Following Miley's controversial Vanity Fair cover, some pegged Gomez and Lovato as two wholesome girls who could fill the teen queen's shoes.
But the Hannah Montana star recently told Extra, "I don’t think there could be a next Miley. I think they should be the next Selena, the next Demi ... [and] make their own way.”
Tell Us: Who's funnier: Miley or Selena?

An Internet musical about a lovelorn would-be supervillain and the video blog he records in his home doesn't exactly scream surefire hit, but that's just what Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog became in the wee hours of July 15. Viewers clicked so fast and so furiously at drhorrible.com to see the online production — created by Buffy the Vampire Slayer auteur Joss Whedon — that demand for the debut installment crashed the site (Acts 2 and 3 followed on July 17 and 19). This sweet and sinister tale about the eponymous mad scientist (Neil Patrick Harris) who battles his archnemesis, Captain Hammer (Nathan Fillion, of Whedon's dearly departed Firefly), for the affections of the crusading civilian Penny (Felicia Day) also shot immediately to the top of the iTunes video chart, and was viewed over 2.2 million times in its first week. Not bad for a project conceived in the heat of the writers' strike and shot on a breakneck schedule this spring. Here's the Horrible truth about how it all came together, and why we probably have not seen the last of the evil doctor or his nefarious blog.

Rick Ross- "This Is The Life" ft Trey Songz

Trey Songz is in everyone's songs. lol That's ok with me. He's so fine.
last night:
-A very tan, very fresh from Senegal Meg Considine (the real deal in 3D!) sat on my couch. She told stories, we ate brownie batter, and I realized how very incomplete Boston (Allston....BAllston....?) is without my Meghan Katherine and my CrooksBalls.
-Open bar in the North End, in a mysterious clear plastic tent, with Robbie and Ryan. Robbie and I have a knack for feeling lukewarm about an event, attending it together anyway (BONUS, last night's was led by Ryan Early!), then having an incredible time. Recent examples include LoMags' January party halted by nasty cops, and last Saturday's scatalogical/anatomical rooftop campfire.
-Dancing like absolute fiends in the corner of said plastic tent, while the rain came down in sheets and could be seen through the plastic roof, to hits such as "Waiting for Tonight," by J. Lo and "Time to Pretend."
-Reluctantly plucking cocktail meatballs off a circulating jack-o-lantern platter (?!).
-"Do you have a license to get that jiggy?"-The bartender, to me.
-"[diiing] NO SWINGING ON THE T!!!"
-Crown Royal-weilding strangers-turned-friends in the now adequately named Party Room on the B line.
-A restaurant that appears to be dubbed "Ice Feces," or "Joe Feces," due to the most unfortunate font decision of 2008.
-Cartwheels off the T into the Park St station (Ryan is magic)
-Woop! Stop-over at Chateau d'If including Air and bathing
-Ill-fated adventure to the Model
-Ended up at Common Ground with a pitcher and a Diaz and some chats.
-Ended up sitting in a storefront stairwell, in some ridiuclous neon glow, sharing earphones with a Diaz and MGMT.
-Doug Herman encounter in the middle of the street.
Fin.
